Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Doing something like this... gaming the poll... is a sure sign of weakness. One KNOWS that there position is either inferior, idiotic, or both, so the individual has to mess with the poll to give their position a false sense of legitimacy and to assist them with their weak ego. It's always been pathetic and always will be.
    This is so true.

The sad part is they think their position is right and strong but in reality it is pathetic and weak like the whole "protecting our race" garbage. They are just pathetic individuals that need to lift themselves up any way they can to feel better about themselves.

    Sad, really sad.

Yeah, this is pretty accurate. Racism is nearly always a fear/ego thing.

This, plus the idea that protecting free speech doesn't mean protecting only the speech we like.
I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

Just for reference, means my post was a giant steaming pile of sarcasm.

I thought it was suspicious the way the 3rd option was far and away the front runner with only one person voting for option 4; then suddenly #4 shot up ahead of all the others. This thread gives credence to the position that DP should only let registered posters vote. Of course, allowing non-registered guests to vote makes a site attractive to check out, so I guess it makes it a tough call.

In any event, the white supremacists' hijacking of this poll in no way legitimizes their pathetic views.

I'm going to delete all of their votes so the poll seems a bit more legit.

What I'm saying is, they have a lot of the right ideas when it comes to preserving and upholding their people, but they're focusing on the wrong qualities to protect. Take all of the nonsense they talk about preserving bloodlines and maintaining the birth rates-- and they're absolutely right except for their stupid preoccupation with pale skin. We absolutely need to have more babies. We absolutely need to pass our cultural values down to our children, and protect our culture and our territory from foreign invasion. We absolutely need to promote a unified consciousness, a concept of duty, and the will to survive at all costs.

We need to do all of these things for the good of our people. I just don't give a damn about white people. My people are the American people, of all colors.
