Why would I want to do that?

Every year there are calls to boycott Black Friday so it is nothing new. None of these boycotts work. NONE. Same with the gas boycotts. If we wanna hurt big box we gotta do it daily! Not just one damn day a year.

I'm going down this list and buying something online from each retailer.

    I am the 100%

Why do we want to hurt the big chain store? Where's the sense in that idea?

Honestly, the world would be a better place if we lived in mud huts and had to hunt for our food with home-made tools. Sorry, a little over the top?

As I stood in line at Best Buy, I shopped online at Walmart, and then Amazon, and then New Egg.

Sorry 99%, but your ideas are just becoming damned stupid. I quite enjoy being a consumer (and so do retailers), thank you very much.

I mean, how many people actually can identify with this crap? "Oh no, I don't want items at affordable prices to give to family members in one month. Please, give them to me at jacked up prices, instead! Show the corporations, maaaaaannnnn!"

I would rather support local biz and places that only have stuff made in the USA.

Oh and Black Friday is just dumb as hell and once again this year folks acted like fools trying to get their greedy hands on crap.

Given the choice between supporting George & Martha from across town, or supporting some CEO from across the country, George & Martha get my vote. However, George & Martha still need to be competitive in their selection and pricing and service, too. That doesn't mean they need to match dollar-for-dollar or item-for-item, but they need to be close and reasonable. George & Martha don't get a free ride.
