Yes, I do mean it. I want liberty and justice for the millions of unborn children that are murdered each year (See how you can spin anything? )

Facts should be known before coming up with a belief.

I've always said the Pledge with meaning and conviction too. But as an adult, I rarely have said the Pledge. I keep wondering where all these people who seem to say/choose not to say it have the opportunity.

No contradiction at all. You can be an atheist and still hate the idea that a god needs to exist in order for man to exist.

That is why the founding fathers were atheists. They decide to figure out the facts before they believed in a false theory. Eventually they did and rejected the belief in god.

I didnt take the poll and the reason is...separating muslims and making it a category to me is dumb....its justice for all americans...if its a muslim AMERICAN just like a Catholic american or a jewish american ...or atheist american....if its a taliban or an alqueda from iran ...hell no....

I am sure, at one time or the other, all of us have recited this pledge...hundreds of times
    When young, we bought it.
Later reasoning - under ideal conditions - one could think - we do it a whole lot better than the Russians...or Chinese...
Now, its just a bunch of words, mantra-ed to make things seem good....we know better....even joke around ..
Liberty and justice for the wealthy is closer to the truth...

Yes, when I was younger, I "bought it." And I buy it now too.
