I foolishly expected this to be about Gingrich. There's no need to look for new stuff, just riffing through his back catalogue should be sufficient.

So it DOES matter who is connected to Fallwell but it doesn't matter who Obama is connected to? You contradicted yourself in such a small sentence. Your abject hyper-partisanship is showing along with your "less than stellar" education.

No i didn't. I said it doesn't matter who is connect to falwell, wright or anyone else for that matter because they are all loons. I was asking him if he agreed with my assertion about him. Looks like you need some reading comprehension lessons.

You stated Falwell was a racist and seem to care about racist pastors yet when Obama's pastor is called out, you state it doesn't matter... Dont see how that's contradictory?

You still aren't getting it. I said that they are were racist and i dont care if any candidate is associated with him. John mccain was endorsed by hagee who made some questionable antisemtic comments but i don't think we should make a big deal about it mccains connection to him. It doesn't matter what pastor anyone is connected to. They are all the same. That's the whole point i was trying to make.

Because some people tend to think only barak obama is linked to racist pastors. Every single republican has tried to get an endorsment from falwell. Barak obama's "connections" aren't an issue.

That was a bit of an exaggeration on my part but yes in modern times that has been the case.

And I'm not sure why you are bringing up the geocentric crap. I was just trying to point out the hypocrisy in criticizing obama's supposed "connections" and i get criticized by liberals and conservatives.

Yeah, It was all over the news. As far as his loose connection with the likes of William Ayers, a man that has neither the modesty towards his past, nor the insights of a post-radical elementary school teacher, the connection was too small to merit discussion.

I attended the same university ayers teaches at. Does that mean i have ties to him? All obama did was set on a board with him? If you are part of the education system in chicago you know who ayers is. No way around that.

If Obama exhibited racist behavior, or supported legislation or policy that was racist, then his connection to Ayers would be...illuminating. Otherwise it's entirely peripheral and no more relevant than your own connection to your embarrassing, racist grandmother who's set in her ways and just "telling it like it is."

Exactly. He's been around awhile and has plenty of skeltons to pull out. I think he hopes for short memories and the always reliable (for the faithful) the media is picking me ruse. :doh
