Einstein as far as I know was not a theist? I don't know for certain.

he was an atheist for most of his life; but when steady state got disproven, he became a theist. he described it as kind of a pantheism, but wasn't as precise about it as he was about physics .

We are a Christian "flavored" nation, smart enough, up to now anyway, not to allow the religious to interfere too much with the operation of our nation...
    As usual....no vote...uninteresting choices.

Uninteresting choices? The choices I gave were not intended to be interesting. In fact the first three of them were not even meant to be precise, just close enough to generally describe a position. The forth was precise in its wording but imprecise in fact, e.g. how would an infant vote was not considered; but again this should not be a problem. But, perhaps I’m too simple to understand. Please suggest an interesting choice.

If you notice something good in yourself, give credit to God, not to yourself, but be certain the evil you commit is always your own and yours to acknowledge.

Is a direct vote allowed for anything on the federal level? (Excepting elected legislative representative, I mean.)

I cannot think of any examples off the top of my head.
