Gregor Mendel, Isaac Newton, Francis Collins, James Madison, even Albert Einstein became a theist after steady state theory was disproven.

Einstein as far as I know was not a theist? I don't know for certain.

he was an atheist for most of his life; but when steady state got disproven, he became a theist. he described it as kind of a pantheism, but wasn't as precise about it as he was about physics :).

Any polls on who should vote...my response will always be the same...EVERYONE should be allowed to vote....period

We are a Christian "flavored" nation, smart enough, up to now anyway, not to allow the religious to interfere too much with the operation of our nation...
As usual....no vote...uninteresting choices.

So, we have here either three posters who are just fooling around or three sickoes...
Lets hope that we are simply playing "stupid".

Uninteresting choices? The choices I gave were not intended to be interesting. In fact the first three of them were not even meant to be precise, just close enough to generally describe a position. The forth was precise in its wording but imprecise in fact, e.g. how would an infant vote was not considered; but again this should not be a problem. But, perhaps I’m too simple to understand. Please suggest an interesting choice.

Is a direct vote allowed for anything on the federal level? (Excepting elected legislative representative, I mean.)

I cannot think of any examples off the top of my head.
