There were a number of people who would walk over to the group and then wander away. Honestly they seemed more like "scouts" trying to spot a possible police incursion before it arrived than anything else. There was also at least one reporter and another individual who I'm not sure was there for anything more than to view the rabble, do determining their real number was a little difficult.

If it's dwindling (thank Goodness), then maybe it's time for the Jackbooted Thugs to end it once and for all with a little Protester-Head Baseball.

Allegations does not mean "are." I have seen assaults, though the allegations of robbery and rape are not proved. Though, video and picture evidence goes an incredibly long way in proving this. I have seen windows broken, people pushed, and other forms of recklessness from the OWS.

That will show them, lol. They are not in any way representative of the 99%, more like the wacko fringe 10%.
And that is where you are wrong.

The majority of people who, at least of the ones getting arrested, are not from that city, and most of the time not from the state in which they are protesting.

It was authored by Citigroup and although it takes a while to read, it does expose some simple truths that Wall Street doesn't desire to talk about. Tired of all things OWS? Hopefully, it is the tip of the iceberg.
Wow! Surprised to see this authored by Citigroup (from your link):

"In a plutonomy there is no such animal as “the U.S. consumer” or “the UK
consumer”, or indeed the “Russian consumer”. There are rich consumers, few in
number, but disproportionate in the gigantic slice of income and consumption they take.
There are the rest, the “non-rich”, the multitudinous many, but only accounting for
surprisingly small bites of the national pie. Consensus analyses that do not tease out the
profound impact of the plutonomy on spending power, debt loads, savings rates (and
hence current account deficits), oil price impacts etc, i.e., focus on the “average”
consumer are flawed from the start. It is easy to drown in a lake with an average depth
of 4 feet, if one steps into its deeper extremes.

Since consumption accounts for 65% of
the world economy, and consumer staples and discretionary sectors for 19.8% of the
MSCI AC World Index, understanding how the plutonomy impacts consumption is key
    for equity market participants."

Some people do not seem to get the link between wealth disparity and our poor economy. This is one of the main points being made by the OWS protesters.

Give me a break, the violence has already started and that was my point. Allegations vs are is really irrelevant to my statement.

I have not seen any evidence to back up that they are loads of people coming in from everyplace else.

Again this has little to do with the point I was making.

I was actually agreeing with you about the "fun" part.

Except these people from my experience aren't tearing up "their own" community, they are doing it to someone elses.

To be honest, I've seen some violence but I haven't put much time into observing the OWS. I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just saying I haven't seen what you've seen.

The rape allegation is pretty serious and I'd like to see some resolution on that case.

They weren't all rape charges, but fondling etc. It sounds like in that one section in NJ, it was getting pretty bad.

Yes and it was Citigroup that coined the term "plutonomy" to spedifically identify our current financial state of affairs. It's hard to get people to understand the implications and realities that are in play. The worst part of the story is that our government saved these "mothers" with the bailout. Time to pull the plug.
