I have no issue with inter-racial relationships if that's what people choose to engage in.

I guess y'all are so sick of all things OWS, you'll fill this thread with pointless banter, eh?

    So it goes.

    Moderator's Warning:
Thoroughly sick of all things Occupy? OWS?Despite the wonderful Dr. Who reference, the thread is about whether or not individuals are sick of all things OWS. While Tigger may be many things he is not Occupied, He's not a Wall, and he's not a Street. So lets move the thread back to the topic please.

If you two would like to continue the discussion on ones personal beliefs, which is perfectly fine, I'd suggest starting a thread focused on it in another forum such as General Politics, Philosophy, Partisan Politics or even the Loft or Tavern. But lets try and get this one back on point

I think I have shown via the google trends, that indeed folks tire or at least are not as interested in the #ows protests of dubious causes. lol

I honestly have the feeling people are getting involved just because they think it would be fun? Among other reasons. The OWS protests are an unorganized bunch of rabble who have no clear message and are mostly supporting anarchy and little else. Lets tear up our own neighborhoods and stop commerce! That will show them, lol. They are not in any way representative of the 99%, more like the wacko fringe 10%.

I've been to zucotti, I was also at the millenium phish concert (don't ask), I see little difference between the two in terms of hygene, or sobriety.

Re: Thoroughly sick of all things Occupy? OWS?

It would seem to me that the Occupiers are even sick of OWS. I went down to the Worcester Common in Worcester, MA last night, to see what their "General Assembly" looked like. At 6:00 they had MAYBE a dozen people there, and my guess is it that an accurate count would have been more like nine. At 6:10 they still hadn't even started their GA. I don't know about anyone else, but in the business' I deal with, if you're on time you're late. If you're late, you don't exist. I left the amorphous group about 6:15, when they still hadn't even bothered to get themselves organized enough to be showing any signs of coherency or getting anything accomplished. I might go back down on Sunday and see how their demonstration/walk goes. Hopefully they get run over.

If I could know exactly WHAT the OWS is, WHAT principles they believe, WHAT changes they would see happen, WHO is their leader, etc, etc...

...then I'd be better able to make a judgment on who these people are.

ALSO, it'd be GREAT if the OWS people would police themselves better. What happens when people start getting hurt?

Was it that hard to distinguish between 9 and 12? hmmm.... Anyway, Zucotti park has been dwindling from it's height of 700 to less then 200 I would surmise today.

Allegations of rape, robbery and assault already. People are already getting hurt.
