    Should animals be granted personhood?
Animals should only be granted personhood when they are found to be more valuable then some people. So yes. Sometimes. LOL.

No. Anyone that wants to give an animal the same rights as the people typing on here are assholes. /End thread

How many more instances of foolishness will be added to PETA's litany?

None, but if they were granted personhood, would only humans have to respect those rights?

If birds have rights, and my cat catches and kills one, will she be put on trial for murder?

I think if a bird that flies, gets caught by a cat that does not fly, they deserve to die.

Squirrels. Squirrels are awesome. The rest of them can go **** themselves.
For: legalizing drugs, gay marriage, abortion, guns, universal health care, public sector jobs, nuclear power, free education, progressive taxation
Against: corporations, make-work, the 40 hour work week, intellectual property, imperialism, "homeland security," censorship

I personally hate those fluffy tailed rats, but your argument was sound enough for me to like it.

I am highly offended by the route this thread is taking. I am a life long members of PETA as is my father and hos before him.
