Strong on momentum, but shy of real power, TEA Party?s political weight remains to be seen
42 percent reported a favorable opinion of the TEA Party versus 40 percent unfavorable.
Read that link more carefully:
"A recent WCU Public Policy Institute/Smoky Mountain News poll of registered voters in Jackson County [North Carolina] shows a nearly even split of how people view the TEA Party: 42 percent reported a favorable opinion of the TEA Party versus 40 percent unfavorable."
So even in Jackson County North Carolina, the Tea Party seems to have peaked out lower than even the lowest estimate we've seen for OWS's nationwide approval rating.
