Here is my thing about min wage. It would probably be far higher if not for the global economy. That said, when you have unskilled Chinese workers packaging electronics after a highly sophisticated assembly robot puts it together so they can afford to buy rice and kerosene for a few lamps that are there light and there heat what are you going to do? I have a great solution to the problem, but no one Republican or Democrat would ever care to give it thought.

The Minimum wage is under asssault by not just 'Free Trade' (and aggravated by the Fake Yuan exchange rate), but 11 Million illegals HERE also driving down the Real Free Market wage.

On this I don't follow - was he suddenly paying more per month on his mortgage because his home was worth less?

I don't see how that effects his ability to do - well - anything.

he was planning apparently on taking out a second mortgage to pay for his daughters' college. dumb.
