    Read that link more carefully:

"A recent WCU Public Policy Institute/Smoky Mountain News poll of registered voters in Jackson County [North Carolina] shows a nearly even split of how people view the TEA Party: 42 percent reported a favorable opinion of the TEA Party versus 40 percent unfavorable."

So even in Jackson County North Carolina, the Tea Party seems to have peaked out lower than even the lowest estimate we've seen for OWS's nationwide approval rating.

Then lay back and enjoy it.

If the Tea Party is no more prevalent than the communists, you have nothing to worry about.

    Do you?

LOL. 26% of you think you're in the top 1%. The actual number is almost certainly 0%....

Democrats always puzzle over why so many Republicans clearly vote against their interests. Middle class Republicans routinely vote, for example, for measures that transfer enormous amounts of wealth from the middle class to the super wealthy. It never really makes sense to us. One theory is that Republicans all think they are about to be rich. Another theory is that Republicans fetishize the rich as see is as some kind of sacrifice they are making to their idols or something. But the theory I tend to believe is that they actually think they ARE the rich. They think that like owning a house and two cars means they're amongst "the rich" that people want to tax more. LOL.

    Sorry, didn't notice.

    I found another poll
WSJ/NBC News Poll: Tea Party Tops Democrats and Republicans - Washington Wire - WSJ

41%, of respondents said they had a very or somewhat favorable view of the Tea Party movement, while 24% said they had a somewhat or very negative view of the group.

If you remove the no opinion votes, which they did for some of the Wall street polls, it will be 63% approval against 37% disapprove.

Why do you think you know what other people's interests are?

Republicans puzzle over why Democrats feel they have to tell other people what their interests are.

When you win, we're a minority. When we win we vote against our interests. What kind of self important bull**** are you selling?

When did you have any wealth transferred to government to someone wealthy? Give specific examples. What is the name of the wealthy person who was given your wealth.

Exactly teamosil ... anyway OWS the protest, unlike others, represents a variety of demands with a common statement, about government corruption and the excessive influence of big business and the wealthiest 1% on U.S. laws and policies.

Ok, so the highest poll we've come up with they hit 41%. The highest poll for OWS is 54%. So, I'm not saying that OWS will turn into a Tea Party like political organization. Probably it won't. But posting approval ratings higher than the Tea Party did at it's peak... That's something worth taking note of. What the combination of the two tells me is that people are frustrated with the government- both agree on that, but even more of them are frustrated both with the government AND with the corporations. Political agendas that don't tackle the corporations only speak to half the problem IMO.

Then they should be at the White House gates or on the lawns of Barney Frank or Chriss Dodd.
