Who are the OWS protestors?

Who are the OWS protestors?

I think you're over simplifying the situation. Yes, these protesters have alot of grievences, but to assume they are ignorant as to what's behind their anger and frustration is foolishness in and of itself.

not really. these people have been interviewed left and right for weeks now. I have not seen a single one of them demonstrate the breadth and grasp of the issue that Michele Bachmann displayed, for cripes sake. Instead it's geniuses like this guy:

I literally spent 30ish, 45 minutes looking through these things (different debate, same general subject). The only guy I've found who is an organic part of this protest that seems to actually be educated in what he's talking about is this guy:

True, not everyone who has gotten involved with the Occupy movement are participating for the same reason(s), but that by and large is why so many people are showing up at these Occupy protest events: their disdain for how capitalism has overwhelmingly influenced our national politic is at the forefront of their outrage. They know that government is no longer "for the people" and it certainly is no longer comprised "of the people" as evidenced by Congress being made up of so many career politicians and/or millionaire politicians.

:) Bipartisan Term Limit Reform?

Don't sell this movement short. The People are keenly aware of what's happening in Congress these days and have known for years. It's just that they've finally decided to take a stand and start speaking out about it.

you're about two years late to the party.

There's nothing rational about personally attacking thousands of people whose personal lives you are completely ignorant of.

why not? you libs do it all the time with the wealthy. why shouldn't I do it with a bunch of assholes who are impeding traffic, stinking up the city and generally making a nuisance of themselves

you libs do it all the time with the wealthy.
you just did it again. you personally attacked/generalized thousands (millions this time) of people without personally knowing them. it's completely irrational. moreover, you base your answer on "they did it first!" which is equally irrational. what's more, you address this to someone who doesn't generalize or personally attack "the wealthy" as a general group thereby taking out your frustrations with other individuals on an individual who has not taken part in that behavior, making your post even more irrational.

So your post is now 3x more irrational that your initial post and you seem proud of it. Never change.

As a group, they are idiots. Nothing "personal" about it.

Calling someone an idiot is the definition of personal because you're making a judgment about them as...a person. :coffeepap
