Parafin wax will not do anything but lubricate the bullet on the way out of the barrel and melt a bit. I've seen bullets dipped for other reasons - mostly to keep out moisture, rain, snow that sort of thing. I've known some guys to make their own tracer rounds with barium nitrate, hexachloroethane and powdered magnesium (a bit risky but very cool if done properly - glows green lol). But parafin to penatrate kevlar --- nah.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

I knew that, I find it funny when someone thinks that. Did they miss the day in class where they taught Neuton's laws of physics?
Defeats the purpose of the 2nd Amendment.

That makes sense. Thanks! Someone must have told me an urban legend.

Those tracer rounds sound like fun.

Keeping out moisture with paraffin wax makes sense.

Never tried it myself but I do remember getting any water or the slightest spark would set off magnesium powder... stuff's touchy so I'd assume they'd have to know what they're doing to not burn down the buildings.
