    Question for the experts:

If you dip your bullet slugs in Paraffin wax, will they penetrate a Kevlar vest?

if they couldn't before they won't after. parafin will burn off the bullet going down the barrel and most lead bullets are lubed with wax prior to loading. One of the reasons why "Open" class IPSC shooters don't shoot lead bullets is that the lube creates smoke and the smoke buggers up the lens on the optic sights most of them use

Love cold war relics and they're reasonably affordable.
NOt a full auto I assume but a semi auto replica. If the stock actually works then you would need a "short barrel rifle" tax stamp for it though. If it was full auto you'd be paying at least 12K for it

    Semi auto, closed bolt.
The stock is unmovable, so it's technically a pistol.
The receiver should be new, since all the original ppsh's were smg's.

    ah that makes sense

at one time several semi auto "pistols" (like the POS plastic intratech) were open bolt. th serial number was on the plastic and some of the earlier models were such that you could heat up the curly end of a straightened coat hanger, and burn of both the serial number and the secondary disconnector turning the pistol into an open bolt full auto machine pistol

I believed those Open bold tech 9's were later classified as requiring a class three tax stamp--much like the Street Sweeper revolver styled shotguns and those who bought them legally were forced to register them under the 1934 NFA

What about bio-weapons? That's just a type of ammo right?

Even though I'm a dyed in the wool capitalist, I have a strong appreciation for all things Soviet.
    Dunno why.

they make weapons that work under crappy conditions

One of my buddies works at the local range-gun shop. He has Russian parents-served in the Naval infantry of Russia and has been on Sons of a Gun several times since he is a good friend of the show's star Will Hayden and that range is now "Red Jacket" arms best retail dealer. I have 5 of Will's weapons including three AK 103 Russian made, RJ converted (to meet the idiotic 922c import rules established by Bush sr and Clinton)

sure 1200 is a lot for an AK but the quality is awesome-brand new hard chromed barrels, new parts etc.

I also have a pair of AK 74 from Will and a custom SAIGA semi auto shotgun

I really like the standard configuration of the Saiga's, just blows that it violates the law to insert a hi cap mag in it, unmodified.
