A joke, or not a joke?

I live in NC. Perdue is already on thin ice already. She's been kissing teacher's asses to save her job for the last few years. (while screwing over others)
 


Remember what Mitch suggested.

Something like the number one goal should be to deny the opposition another term.

You could give most of these plotiticians 10 year terms and they will still act the ____ing same way.

The never ending campaig wouldn't end due to suspending elections alone IMO.

Heck while they are at it, maybe they should give themselves a raise for not having to go through another grueling election. :joke:
 
Ive read it...and I believe her explanation that it was neither a serious statement or a joke...it was sarcasm aimed at the hyper partisanship in congress that has nothing being done....I found that a reasonable explanation and im not being partisan about it.
 
On Tues, 9/27 Governor Beverly Perdue of North Carolina, at a speech made the following statement:

At 5:17pm that same day, Governor Perdue's Press Secretary Chris Mackey claimed the governor was just having fun.

After listening to the audio clip and reading the retraction:

Was Governor Beverly Perdue serious about suspending the 2012 elections or was she using hyperbole and joking?
As I said in another thread, anyone who listens to that tapeand says she was joking is a joke.
