Racists?

Are people who use the race card racist?

Never said race-baiting was racism. You should know that instead of claiming that I make up definitions

That is the question you posed in this thread.

. Anyways, since people ask for the definition of racism for the 500th time, ad nauseum, then here it is:

Calling out racism, true racism, isn't racist. But race-baiting, in which you throw in race unfairly to bait your opponent, while also used to further your race's ends, IS racism.

Not according to the definitions you posted it is not.

It's racist because you're injecting race into the conversation insincerely to further the ends of your race. It's racism.

1) that is not racism by any definition supplied in this thread.

2) That is not what those people are doing. They are injecting race to further their political ends.

Every person has some degree of racism ... yet some people are able to separate their illogical emotional bias of racism and manage their racism.

Racism is the belief that some races are superior to other races.

So where is the racism in the OP? There is none.

Yes, there is idiocy & dishonesty...but no racism.

So I can call everything I disagree with "racist" to further whatever selfish and insincere means I have, and not be racist for doing so? Well, people like that, in my eyes, become as bad if not worse than racists.

by what definition of racism, does obusively or dishonestly using the race-card, racism?

cause honestly.....its quite racist to mis-apply the term "Racism".

The race card is almost exclusively played by Liberals and who was it that fought tooth and nail against desegregation and Civil Rights until the writing was on the wall so the at that time the Southern Democrats came up with the next best way to keep minorities down, Welfare.

It managed to break up families, excuse poor or no education, and they have blamed what welfare has caused on the GOP since then.

Remember the Southern Democrats started the KKK and only allowed integration when they were faced down by Federal Troops.

Calling someone racist is another tactic out of the rules for radicals, which say to put the enemy on the defensive because it will end talk about the topic at hand.

Liberal follow those rules quite well.

Are you sure you are in the right forum? I did not realize this was the "crackpot conspiracies forum". Yes, us liberals, so racist and hating of blacks that we try to hand life to them on a wooden spoon. I have an idea of how us liberals can really get those blacks, let's just give them all millions of dollars. Talk about them not being educated or staying together! With millions, they can literally do nothing all day and never go to school! Wow, what a plan!

One could argue that deliberately & purposefully mis-applying the term "racism" & "racist", in order to confuse the reader and dumb-down the meaning of racism so as to make it no longer a significant accusation, is a highly dishonest strawman argument.

Do you understand what the ****ing word "racist" means?

I wish this thread was in the basement.

Has anyone tried linking him to an online dictionary? Can you imagine the days where he would actually physically get up and check it himself?

So let me get this straight bringing up the race card by saying "You dont like them because you are black/white/brown/yellow/etc" means you are a racist? Im not connecting the dots here at all.

This is one of the big problems with all the calls of racism today. It is like the boy who cried wolf, and then when real racism comes along, every one discounts it. Race gets injected by most every one for all sorts of reasons, and 99 % of the time, it is actually irrelevant to the discussion. In part that is also why this is a stupid poll. Racism and race baiting don't have to be the same thing to both be bad.

Whether race is relevant is in the eye of the beholder. (And if race is relevant, that's a far cry from racist speech, BTW.) If you're white, I think it'd be hard for you to judge the authenticity of a reaction by a person of color. To a degree, racism is like sexism. The speaker can sincerely mean no harm, not know enough to realize he's about to give offense, etc. and the listener can still genuinely be hurt by what is said.

The racism of my youth, as in for example when the Chicago cops executed Huey Long and so forth, is largely (but not entirely) a thing of the past. Except for corners of the internet, most people value their jobs, social standing, etc. not to say out loud in public the sort of things that I grew up hearing.

That does not mean we now live in the land of unicorns and butterflies. Like any other form of evil, racism still exists.

And you're only saying that because you're a green... multiple eyed... yellow horned  Okay seriously what is that? :2razz:

If I'm not mistaken, it's the Vicious Black Beast of AHHHHHHHHH! I was so scared, I soiled my armor.

Question was found on Facebook and I figured it's a good one:

Are the people who always use the race card also racists?

Simple, short, sweet.

I say most likely the race card players are or they are liars or they are just ****en retarded. Ever heard of the saying "he who smelt it dealt it"? Basically it means that the person calling attention to the problem is most likely the source of it.

Exactly. Which is why those who always talk about the race card are always the one's who use it.

Simply, shortly, and sweetly, the answer is no.

I think that the vast majority are more racist, then the people they attempt to blame of being.

I think there are people who cry racism when there is no need to ... and I don't just mean black people. There are plenty of whites who do it in defense of other races. Personally, I think it has more to do with having a low EQ than it does "racism". A "racist" hates people because of their race... I don't believe the majority of people who "pull the race card" do it because they "hate" the race they're accusing of being racist.

That said .... racism is alive and well in our country today. Sadly.

My question is this.....If someone does not feel sorry for the Blacks, Mexicans, Orientals, Muslims. Are they Racist?
And what constitutes feeling sorry for a particular race?

I believe all race of people are in the same situations today....And those that regardless of their color or race that better and make something of themselves. I applaude.
But those few races that receive more attention, or have more than others, brings on envie and hatred.

It's only Human Nature.:peace

Exactly. You can't expect to wield supreme power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!

Racist this....Racist That....Racist This.....Racist That.

This nation has become a mixed-up, corrupted place to live. Good Gosh!!!

Just remember this. If there was no racism. This nation would have been over-runned years and years ago by either your total ignorant un-patriotic, undesirables, illegal foriegners, un-wanted cult-like religions, or your athiest that believe humans come from frogs.

Racism keeps a fine balance of all things un-normal and un-civilized. To that of a normal world.

And it will always be around....Accept it.

Are you really trying to suggest that we should give thanks to racist???

A person being a racist does not make them evil....That is the liberal way of thinking mentality.

Here is a simple example.
You have lived in a nice clean, crime free all White neighborhood for many years.
Suddenly within a few years and months, undesirables start to filter in, and your home values decline, all type of crime starts to present itself. Now you are the minority in that neighborhood. You fear for yours and your families lives.
So, you decide to move out, and relocate to another place far away.
Are you a Racist for doing that.?

Give me a simple YES or NO

No.. I am trying to figure out why anybody would wish to dwell by you.. but no..
