Are any of the republican front runners conservative enough?

Quick question, are any of the republican candidates conservative enough to suit you?

Right now i am seeing accusations of liberalism slung at all of them.

So far, they are all too "socially conservative" AKA haters.

Haters. That's from a mind that isn't bright enough to grasp what conservatism is. How much additional in taxes do you pay Pinko over and above the amount you are required? I thought so. ZERO. So now who is the hater?

Right now the front-runners are all a bunch of religious wingnuts. We need people who are actually conservative, not fundamentalist whackos.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

Re: Are any of the republican front runners conservative enough?

Honestly, I'm pretty uninspired. I don't trust Romney. I wanted to like Perry, but he was better on paper than in person. Bachman always sounds like she's speaking from old notes. Cain, though he supposedly won Florida's straw poll, is all over the place. Huntsman's slick, and I just can't watch him. Ron Paul's isn't wholly sane.

Knowing what Newt Gingrich was able to do as Speaker of the House and the Contract with America, I'd support him all day long if the media would give him half a chance with his personal life. He's always the most grounded with providing actual solutions to actual problems. I want to like Rick Santorum, but I don't know that much about him, yet. He seems awfully young.

So, inspired, not particularly - I might get there with Gingrich or Santorum. As far as being conservative enough? If they'd stand behind states rights, I think most of them are conservative enough for President. It's the House and Senate that need to be the most conservative with an emphasis on fiscal conservancy and state's rights.
The US is an odd ship. The captain yells out when he sees obtacles , but 535 individual propellers do the steering.

NO. None of them are anywhere near Conservative enough to get MY vote, or the votes of the Conservatives that I know. They're not even close for the most part. Hell, at least one or two of them aren't even of the proper GENDER. One was the Governor of a LIBERAL state and moved that state further LEFT during his administration. None of them are capable of WALKING the TALK.

Re: Are any of the republican front runners conservative enough?

Mitt Romney is no conservative. Anyone claiming he is a conservative either has no idea what the hell a conservative is or is lying their ass off.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

Yes it is, and it was a very good point, lpast. Though I'm not a Tea Party supporter by any stretch of the imagination. THEY aren't far enough RIGHT for my personal tastes.
