    Wat's in the news!

Fox News; fair and balanced? Do you think FOX News is fair and balanced or my way or the highway? Are they trying to report the news or just trying to find some dirt on Obama. If you watch when they interview someone, if that person tries to express an opinion of their own, they shout them down and just spout off what they want you to hear. I think OíRiely is the father of this kind of; letís see, you canít call it reporting, you canít call it news forecasting, I donít think you can call it fair and balanced, Oh yea I remember, I think itís called Propaganda when someone tries to get you to see their side of the story and donít want you to hear the other side. I know itís just TV; thatís fine, but donít try to sell me crap wrapped up in newspaper. If they would put half as much effort in to find out how to fix the problems in this country as they do on try to find some way to discredit Obama, then they could probably solve some of the problems we have in this country. And itís not just FOX but CNN, MSNBC, and all the other propaganda mills out there. If you are a news channel, then report the news; and regardless of what you think, I may be smart enough to from my own opinion. And if you are a talk channel; well thatís fine, but label it that way, donít just throw in a few news bites and call it a news channel, and tell me it is fair and balanced.

Well, this is my fair and balanced opinion, and my question to you is; are news channels such as FOX and CNN really news channels or are they propaganda mills for sale to the highs bidder?

Foxsports is in my opinion the best sports channel. The news channel is obviously a media arm of the Republican Party. 100% politicized, completely biased, pro-corporate, big money up your nose kinda guy. For what it's worth.

There should be other options for it to be a good poll: Other, I don't know, and some alternatives like deliberate ignorance, etc...
As for my opinion, the news is mainly idiotic talking points that the public mostly know and don't care about

I don't think there's any unbiased news channels in the US.

You brought up a very good point sir. But this is my poll, and like all polls, you have to answer the question I ask with the answers I give so I can get the response I want, that's the way polls work. But at lease I have left you room to state your own opinion. And I think you want to agree with me, but they have brainwashed you into thinking that the news is mainly idiotic talking points, when in fact the news is suppose to be the facts about what is happen in the world and keep your opinion out of it. So all I'm saying is,tell me the news, but keep your opinion out of it. That is a news anchor's job. Talk show host give their opinions. So call it the FOX talk show channel is all I'm saying, Don't spread propoganda and call it news.

    Re: Wat's in the news!

there is no such thing as a unbiased news channel that actually just reports the news without trying to cram a political point of view down your throat. For example instead of calling illegals "illegals","illegal aliens", or "illegal immigrants" the liberal networks will generally call them undocumented immigrants and I have seen some go as far to call them undocumented Americans and they call anti-illegal immigrant groups as anti-immigrant groups and anti-illegal immigrations laws as anti-immigrant laws. They also do this with stories involving firearms. For example if a nutcase shoots a bunch of people then its a story for weeks and they are doing stories on why we need more anti-2nd amendment laws while if a person uses his gun to stop a scumbag from killing other people the story gets little to no airtime and they do no stories for why we need to quit ****ting on the 2nd amendment. They also do this with politicians. For example a republican has an affair or or allegedly tries to solicit gay sex then it is news for weeks, but a democrat New Jersey governor has an affair and he is a brave man for coming out of the closet, a famous well known democrat presidential candidate has an affair and it only gets a token mention. I imagine Fox News does the same thing but the opposite. Only ****en retard thinks there is unbiased news.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Re: Wat's in the news!

There is no such thing as objectivity in journalism; it is, and always has been, a myth. News is written and produced by human beings, who all have their biases, prejudices, preferences and personal positions. It is inevitable that those creep into their journalism... in many cases they are simply partisan hacks, thinly veiled.

EVERYONE is biased. The main difference is that some will tell you so plainly, and others try to hide it.

The Left has NBC, CBS, ABC, and most newspapers.... they need to quit cryin'.

Fox is right-leaning in news, sure. So?

You answered your own so, if Fox had a motto other than fair and balanced, I'm sure the hubbub from the hacks would be a fair bit less.

You have a point, but I doubt the latter statement.
