It'd be a piss poor company if the only people they expect to sell to are their own employees. I'd say it'd be doomed to failure.
i've always wondered at the idiocy of this theory. it's like people really don't get that part of the cost of a widget is the cost of its' labor. your labor costs go up - guess what? - your widget costs go up too. should yacht builders get paid $20 million a year, but makers of basketballs only $3.10?
