• This is a political forum that is non-biased/non-partisan and treats every person's position on topics equally. This debate forum is not aligned to any political party. In today's politics, many ideas are split between and even within all the political parties. Often we find ourselves agreeing on one platform but some topics break our mold. We are here to discuss them in a civil political debate. If this is your first visit to our political forums, be sure to check out the RULES. When’s the last time you actively participated in politics? For the purposes of this discussion, please exclude things like on-line debate, over-a-beer debate, on-line petitions, etc. I'm talking about time served for the masses. Please select all that apply.

I'd also like to hear something about what you did, if you're willing.

I vote occasionally. Aside from that, I've never participated in politics.

I always vote but since I almost never find any candidate I can endorse, that's all.

Briefly in a bathroom stall at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport in 2007... but nothing came of it.

I just turned 18 so I haven't voted yet. I plan on doing so whenever possible, though.

I am unable to participate in politics because of a legal conflict of interest.

I picked this one but it's not 100% accurate. My wife's job is at the will of the mayor so it's best for me to stay on the sidelines.

I vote every election. I am a volunteer at the moment and I lead the county leader for volunteers right now.

I vote every time I can. Local, regional, national, and EU. If there is no candidate who actually represents my views, then I hold my nose and vote either for the candidate who best fits, or even against the candidate I dislike most. For example, I have never voted Conservative. In the absence of a candidate who shares my views, I have voted for the person most likely to beat a Conservative, even although I don't agree with all of that person's platform.

Got my clock cleaned running for US House of Reps. as a write-in candidate in 2010.

I participate in Green election campaigns and donate small money occasionally. Always volunteer for the committees where I can be most useful. Sometimes I vote Democrat. Mostly I vote Green. I voted for Nader. I would vote for Ron Paul.
