I didn't say that there is no more threat at all. I'm in DC, and I'll probably avoid the metro and downtown for the weekend because of the terror alert. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't stress out too much over it. After the underwear bomber, Arab Spring, and the lack of attacks I'm not too worried. The last point is especially telling. If they wanted to, terrorists could cause extreme havoc, despite increased security over the past decade. The fight is far from over, but they aren't exactly the Visigoths at the Gates of Rome.

When has there been a single terrorist attack that didn't come out of the blue? When has there been a single one that was expected? None that I can think of.
 
I don't expect any terrorist attack on 9-11....which is today now.
We stand a bigger chance of getting into our cars and wrecking or falling down our steps outside our homes...than we do falling under another terrorist attack.
Like I said before, why would anyone try anything on this particular date, I should hope we, as America, are watching more closely now, and are more prepared. I think some people are getting all worked up, with it being the 10th Anniversary date and all.

I think they've essentially given up on America, due to the difficulty and high risk involved.

I believe truly that there will be another London or Madrid before there's another 9/11. Europeans don't take proper precautions, and prefer to run around oblivious. They even somewhat cater to them, as shown in the Paris riots.

They're much more due for another bad attack.
