Actually I thought it was really lame.
The daily show is MUCH MUCH better than that. They are usually very funny and GREAT at exposing people.

The Tea Party "overall" to me is a joke but they do have great influences because they are a loud group who votes.

The Tea party has some VERY sound members believe it or not but unfortunately for them, ratio wise, the party is polluted with nonsense, morons and bigots more so than other parties. So it gets unfairly judged and labeled in the blanket way people like to do. Im guilty of it myself.

I found the line "Based their name on a 4th grade understanding of history" to be accurate and amusing. Overall not their best stuff.

yeah that part made me giggle too but you hit the nail right on the head. "Not their best stuff", guess I was just hoping for much more because typically they are so much better, seemed like it almost wasnt done or something, of a skit they probably scrapped lol.
 
I find it to be more Liberal bashing of something they don't have the capacity to understand.

They lash out with vile comments that show a clearly Anti-American, Anti-Constitution position.

Liberals have a long record of attacking what they fear or do not understand, and they fear the Tea Party big time.

They did it with Sarah Palin lying their ass off about her, because they can't stand the thought of a beautiful woman with a great record of accomplishments going up against Obama who has a record of nothing that grew into a record of failure for the last two and a half years.

Then Michele Bachman came on the scene and they were ready to do the same thing to her.

I think most understand, which is in part why they criticise. I mean, Bachman deserves criticism. Seriously. She says really stupid ****. And some of the tea party are incoherent, lack understanding of both history and the constitution, and behave kind of nuts. And while you can find republicans and democrats who do that, you'd be hard pressed to find any mainstream effort with either goign quite that far.
 
I actually enjoy the daily show, but I found this clip quite boring.

I think the only ones who will find this funny are the haters. However, they also think MSNBC is funny, because they love hearing people criticize Tea Party.

I like it, it serves the purpose and exposes what the media really is. BTW not even close but remember if you've seen it once you'll seen it all and if you haven't seen it throw a rock at it..lol.

I’ve been to Tea Party demonstrations. I’ve posted about it before. The video clips of the Tea Party demonstrators was accurate but not as bad as what we’ve seen. No Glocks on hips were shown. Signs were accurate. And the foreign commentators were genuine. Funny and sad.
 
I’ve read the posts on this. Comments about Tea Party haters lead me to post about my perception of the Tea Party. The Tea Party has provided a place where people of like decisions can come together and demonstrate with effect their beliefs. This is a very good thing. It causes the news to cover them. You get to hear their desires and can find out how they came to their decisions. I got to speak with several of them. I found nothing to hate. When a Tea Party family is demonstrating, and is in debt to a hospital for $90,000, and is looking for a solution, and thinks the Tea Party has one for them, it’s scary but there is nothing to hate. And, it’s definitely informative.

How better to judge a party than by its constituents?
 
I didn't really find it funny at all. This isn't because I support the Tea Party, but because the humor in the video wasn't really all that great.
 
It comes off as a montage of jokes that were probably funny in their original context.

I expect better from the Daily Show.

"We the People" sounds like something communist. Also, I'm not aware that the Tea Partiers were excellent at not putting hate, stupidity, or lack of understanding. The Islamophobia, which alone shows a lack of all three, is an excellent example

If that sounds Communist to you, you have serious problem in understanding what this Nation is all about.
