If you're a politician from Texas, you have built-in recognition.

Ipast, you fail for not making this vote public.

That said, I vote for Perry. Bachmann would get crushed.

I've noticed that the Democrats and RINOS are starting to get worried. The things that they are saying about Perry are the exact same things they said about Ronald Reagan in 1980.

I'd say Perry maybe, Bachmann no.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

That he's not intelligent. That he's not a good Governor. That he'll never win. They said the same thing about Reagan.

I don't know about the Democrats and RINOs, but the liberals are salivating over the prospects of a Perry or Bachmann pick as the best the GOP has to offer!

    Not necessarily.

Perry Rises in Recognition and Maintains Positive Image

Rick Perry is working to improve his, but still trails behind six other potential candidates, including Palin.

Havent voted yet because my answer don't line up with the poll.

Bachman? Absolutely not, that's a joke. Nobody sane and objective wants her in the white house.
Perry? Undecided let me learn more about him.
