Seriously, just once I'd like to see presidential candidate who is a rationalist and doesn't buy into this superstitious nonsense.
I think you have one now.

He deserves to be president if he's elected to it, democracy sucks.

Indeed. That's one good reason for the electoral college. (not to change the subject, but . . . you know.)

Where did I ever say I support Obama? He's just another corporatist and his ridiculous religious beliefs don't help.

    Settle down there, big fella.

I'm just sayin ol Barack thinks mighty highly of himself. Maybe too highly. Needs taking down a peg or two. You don't hold for religion. That's your privilege. You ain't likely to find a viable candidate to your liking here.

    Take that stuff somewhere else.

My favorite line from his announcement speech:

So you support small government Republicans as a Socialist? That'd be something new.

Of course Perry would deserve to be President. I guess the same question could have been asked about Obama and was I think: Should a person who smoked dope and did cocaine deserve to be President? I think the answer was yes.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

I don't see the act of considering succession to be anything that would/should disqualify an individual from being the POTUS. In fact, if the rest of his politics were better I'd seriously consider supporting Gov. Perry.

No less than any person who entertains socialism deserves to be president.
