3 cigarettes, 2 sandwiches and a bottle of soda, win!

I'm an advocate for change, without removing or instead changing the behavioral effects, of our social and spending programs.

In all seriousness, I find it hard to believe that everyone should have to shoulder the responsibility of the failure, when some people have tried to make a positive difference.

Edit: and no that doesn't mean I blame the "evil libbo socialists!!!1" it's just that many people are very, very resistant to what they've been used to for the past 30 years.

You're just trying to deflect that this whole crisis is the result of 30 years of interrupted libertarian rule

honestly, I have no problems laying most of the blame on the GOP over the last forty years.

We all understand the progressive movement wishes to continue to create a larger and larger government, and that has been a key cause as they successfully created a political environment (labor tax to service debt, fiat currency to devalue the debt, inflation tax hiding true costs of programs) that allowed to GOP to spend so ridiculously on war and military might.

so they all share blame, but the GOP continues to talk the talk while refusing to walk the walk and that makes me pretty angry.

    well, let's see.

    1. this kind of a crises has been in our future for some time.
    2. it was, however, accelerated by the massive deficit spending over the last several years, and is now coming much, much, much, much sooner than anticipated.

so... since they took over the House of Representatives, which party spiked deficits the most compared to where they were?
