    Are both parties risking...

Are both parties risking creating even more independents with their lack of leadership, partisan games and other general stupidity?

Went with "mebbe". No doubt there are some partisan games going on, but the topic at hand is a serious one. As both sides make their statements about how the other side is the one not cooperating its hard to determine who to believe.

The out of control spending really does have the possibility of collapsing this economy. And both sides are reluctant to provide hard specifics on where they will apply actual cuts. (Raising taxes is easy compared to cutting existing spending...)

We Have Met the Enemy and He is Us.

Liberals, Independents, and even some Conservatives voted for Obama who was wholly unqualified for the job, since then he has proven this over and over, yet people let it slide.
In part because they didn't want to admit they were wrong.

Most others didn't fight back like they should and now we all are paying the price.

Yes President Bush did a lot wrong and many let it go because we were seen to be under attack and he did a couple of things right. Obama can't make that claim and neither can his supporters.

We are in need of the Statesman I have been talking about for a while. Someone who is not afraid of the truth or the hard decisions.

It doesn't have to be about labels other than being Americans any more.

It has to be about right and wrong and logic that complies with the Constitution and the will of the people once they are informed, with the truth and facts, which are hard to come by these days.

Well, I sure don't feel very inspired by the Democrats.
For: legalizing drugs, gay marriage, abortion, guns, universal health care, public sector jobs, nuclear power, free education, progressive taxation
Against: corporations, make-work, the 40 hour work week, intellectual property, imperialism, "homeland security," censorship

Me either. Kucinich is about the only Dem who can inspire me to feel anything other than disgust for the party at the moment.

Yes, and we NEED more independents / 3rd party politicians.

This, in my humble apprehension, it to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." —John Adams

Is it time to unveil my plan for the Pragmatist's Party?

Perhaps. I for one am not overly impressed with either party just the now.

Yes, I basically hear both sides saying the same crap they always say but at a higher volume. They want to go back to their party's principles rather than actually work for the people. Each party has a few positives, but they both have negatives and they won't work together. Having to pick between the two parities is just bs.

What's wrong with Independents that creating them would be such a risk? Beyond the mere fact that as Independents we don't have to refer to a long-winded partisian political party platform to determine what we think about issues, that is.
