The Dems already budged on spending.

    LOL

Your first link isn't even dated. Your second source is obviously biased. The last link is about the current budget battle.

All in all, I take the credibility of government sources.

    Thanks for playing though.

Edit: If there wasn't a budget, why can I browse through them online? Mind explaining that to me.

Well, both parties have shown that they are more interested in 'winning' the budget battle than coming to a compromise that is most beneficial to the country, so I don't trust either party.

fascinating. perhaps you can explain why Harry Reid said it would be "foolish" for Democrats to put forth a Budget for the 2012 fiscal year? he must have been confused and have forgotten passing one?

and why did we have that big to-do over the Continuing Resolution last spring? seems a budget had already been passed - did everyone in Washington fail to realize this? gosh, you would have thought a particularly bright aid would have pointed it out or something....

or, could you direct me to who proposed the budget you reference from FY2010? thanks.

    OOOOOoooh waiiiiiitt....

    I see what you've done.

you took what the government spent, and are pretending that it was some kind of deliberate budget rather than just a series of continuing resolution keeping the government on autopilot.......

yeah, btw. just so you know. that's not a budget. not any more than you paying your credit card bill when it comes due is "budgeting your finances"

I wouldn't say I trust either of them persay...but historically the Democrats have had a better track record, and even today seem to be more serious about long-term solvency (as opposed to easily-reversible discretionary cuts). So I suppose I trust them more than I trust the Republicans...but neither party is particularly trustworthy on anything other than doing what they think is in their own best political interests.

I don't trust any politician. They exist to be re-elected. In order to fix the problem, they're going to have to do some really, really, really unpopular things, therefore they will never do them. It doesn't matter what side of the aisle they come from, doing what needs to be done is going to require political suicide. That's why the problem will never be fixed by anyone we send to Washington.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.
