Which Branch Of Our Government Has The Most Power

Which branch of our government has the most power?
I don't particularly care what the founders meant it to be, but how it is today.

    Legislative (Congress)

    Executive (President)

    Judiciary (Supreme Court)

They are coequal, no one branch has power over the other.

    Beats me

Overall and as of today......and as The Kenyan Tyrant has displayed.......Executive.

But even after a century of liberal manipulation.........its evident the government design from our Libertarian and Conservative Forefathers and Founders was about as close to perfect as a bunch of gun and bible toting right wing nut jobs could create.

The Supreme Court in the last decade.

Executive. I can't remember how many times Bush gave Congress the finger and did what he wanted. Executive Orders have given Presidents a lot of power over the years and Congress is usually more likely to yield to the President than vice versa.
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'm going to judge power as the ability to affect change, and in that respect, its close between the executive and judicial. The executive branch, in the last decade, has started 2 wars (and probably several covert wars) to get started. The judicial has radically redefined the political realm with several key decisions, like Citizens United. In the meantime, the legislator has been practically paralyzed by special interests (a result of the judicial), executive actions, and hyperpartisan hackery.

I don't really know how to quantify and compare the judicial and executive, so I don't think I'm going to vote just yet.

On the contrary, the legislator has been aided by special interests. It has also sought to keep up with the executive branch through committees and other oversight mechanisms, as the executive branch grows exponentially in employees over the past 100 years or bit more.

As of late, certain aspects of the executive's power have in fact been strengthened, but over time, certain situations elevate the standing of the other branches.
