GAMBLING IS WRONG.....unless its THE LOTTERY.....because The DNC gets a piece........

I am all for personal responsibility. However at the same time I am not for states basically turning people into addicts so they can rake in tax revenue from the addiction. I do not oppose all forms of legalizes gambling, I do support bingo. While it can be addictive like slots or black jack it requires the individual to spend a certain amount of time at it and the individual is limited by the cash they can spend on it because there is only so many cards an individual can handle at ounce.

Then you are not "all for" personal responsibility. You are for it when it suits you, and against it when it doesn't

Not sure about gambling .. . I lived in Orlando for a while … and use to frequent the dog tracks .. didn't take long … ( tellers pointing it out) to realize the best times to go .. were the first week of the month … that is when people got their government checks … the money in each betting pool was much larger then the rest of the month .. My hometown in Michigan added a casino (Indian run) and I know people that work in it … an am told much the same thing about their take .

I think like most things .. it should be a personal responsibility, gamble with what you have to lose and nothing more … . unfortunately … personal responsibility doesn't seem to be something we have a lot of anymore .. . the sad truth is, the majority of those that would gamble, are the very same people that can least afford it .

"Deficit spending is fine and we won't whine...until a Democratic President comes into Power."

"Fighting Wars without paying for them is fine...until a Democratic President comes into power."

See, two can play this partisan hack game Badmutha. And i'm still struggling to find where in the liberal manual handbook it says that gambling is wrong.

I never made those contentions........but what do they have to do with Gambling?

And i'm still struggling to find where in the liberal manual handbook it says that gambling is wrong.

Use your open eye..........

Gambling is just a tax on the poor and those with poor math skills.

tell that to bill bennett.

Bennett had a gambling problem and lost millions of dollars. Supposedly he has quit cold turkey. I file him under the 'poor math skills' category.

There are some professional gambling winners in this world. They have a small club. Most of them can't even go into casinos anymore. They get black listed by the mob and have to play table stakes poker in private get-togethers. If you can't play high stakes, you'll never win anything. The best odds for gamblers are when the craps shooter rolls a nine. Everything else is really stacked against you.
