GM and Chrysler would have filed bankruptcy and the court system would have worked and the unions would have lost.

And that was the wetdream of those on the far right.

You know, I actually disagree with this statement. I think John McCain would have done the right thing, and chosen the good of the country over what he personally believes.

You are SO gonna get thrown under the bus.

Why wouldn't you let a private business fail? Why didn't the government bail me out? I had a company that was way less in debt that either of the auto companies. I had the same burdensome regulations hindering me every step of the way. I had onerous taxes to pay. Was it that I did not have a big union laundering legitimate money to send to democrats?

Landslide perhaps not, but a win, depending on how he manages to tweak the economy, may be.

Sadly yes. The bailouts were the only way to keep these well paying jobs in country. I don't care much for Government intervention, but until we find other ways not to bleed so many jobs, hopefully a fair trade option, we don't have much choice.

Walls work pretty well. The communists in Europe used them for about 50 years. That has to be next with this administration.
I don't care much for Government intervention, but
Note the dreaded "but" Anytime the Butt-monkey shows up one can tell that the Butt-monkey doesn't actually believe anything stated before the "But."

You have plenty of choice. Let businesses fail. Life will go on. And you will be free for a while longer.

Aren't most of the people that want to build a wall Republicans? Sure, their aim is to keep Mexicans out, but it works equally well both ways.

Of course there is a but attached, because we don't have an administration and nor Congress willing to let the free market take its course, but have endless manipulators and greedy outsourcers.
So until the American people vote in people who make sense, not those who promise to make sense, we will have lots of but monkey around, aka realists.

Wafflers. Neither hot nor cold.

I love the idea of building a wall to keep illegal aliens out.
This was different. This was an intention to keep the rich here, prisoners.

So people who say one thing in the first part of a sentence and then say the opposite after the 'but" are realists? Awesome. I really think you are brilliant, but maybe not so much. How is that? Does that make me a realist?
