Do you own a PC or iMac.

I use a macbook.

I am on a PC, and I do have safari installed.

I'm trying it out, since so many of you guys use it.
It's ok but it didn't import my bookmarks. :?

You can import bookmarks.

Click on the little wrench icon at the top right of your browser --> go to "Bookmark Manager" and click --> Select "Organize" ---> select import bookmarks from the drop down menu.

I tried the auto import, but it didn't work.
Trying to manually import but can't find the bookmarks file in firefox.

That did it. :)

Thanks.

Firefox. I tried Chrome quite a while ago when it was fairly new, and really didn't like it. It may be better now.

But I don't really have any complaints about Firefox. Since I am the child of a geek, I don't have any problem with speed. It's nice to have a geek in the family, lol.

Google Chromite here although I can use IE if I want to. I'm surprised so many people actually use Chrome.

i went ahead and switched over from chrome to safari a couple hours ago. i think i like it better, but i can't remember all my passwords
for different things which kind of makes the transfer a pain in the ass.

Switched back to Fire Fox after an extended trial of Chrome. I like Chrome, it has some features that are nice to have, however, even though Fire Fox is a bit of a RAM hog, I still just like it better in general.

I also use Opera frequently, it's an all around good browser. The only time I load IE is when I'm fixing someone else's computer and need it to download another browser. I have a standalone Fire Fox program so, whenever I get around to including in my toolkit, I won't every have to use IE again.

Firefox. I've used Safari, but I find it slower than FF. Haven't used IE, other than when I repair someone else's computer in about 8 years. Resources are not a problem... I built my system and jacked it up with 4 gigs of memory.

i've noticed that to with safari. i think i will switch back to firefox and just say there.

Chrome. It is the fastest plus you have most of the screen to work on. It is especially good on small screens. My only hangup is that Flash crashes in Chrome if you have multiple tabs open with Flash. But with the newest versions of Chrome with cloud backup and other refinements then this is by far the best browser on the market. I especially love how you use the address bar to search in.

Firefox is okay but it is so heavy compared to Chrome. It is also slower.

IE only when accessing official webpages since most dont allow Chrome or Firefox. IE is not bad at all now days, and faster than Firefox if you dont install too many plug-ins. It is also emulating Chrome on usage area.

Safari... never ever ever install this POS software on a Windows PC. It is slow, unsecured and worst of all it brings with it loads of crap that I dont want. Unless they have changed it (doubt it), it constantly asks me if I want to install iTunes and Quicktime.. NO I DO NOT! On top of that it has a tendency to screw up Windows PCs so it requires reinstall :( One of the first things I look for on PC's I fix is if there is Safari on it and iTunes since they are often the problem with system slowdowns and issues.

Opera.. never bothered with it.

I'm not having the trouble most often associated with FF. Maybe that's because I am just here and gmail, for the most part. Oh, and news.google.com

And all it took to get me back on Chrome was one painfully slow day on FF.

Anybody know of a Chrome ad blocker?
