Does the islam form a threat to democracy ?

Absolutely!

All religions do, thus we have separation of church and state.

Having a realistic mind: No.

it is the most violent religion

Islam doesn't need to threaten democracy. Democracy is inherently self-destructive.

No it is the muslims who dont accept democracy , and the liberal democratic country's dont know how to deal with this issue .
the answer is simple but hard everyone who is against the domocratic state of X loses the right to democracy

yes liblady you are right but just like you said they '' could '' but they dont

Heh. If you go around deciding who has a right to "democracy" and who doesn't, it wouldn't be a democracy any more, now would it? Personally, I'm all about abolishing liberalism and democracy, but to blame Muslim minorities for something that the West is largely doing to itself is kinda gauche; they don't have the resources to threaten democracy, as the recent wave of anti-Muslim laws in Europe demonstrates.

Democracy has a flaw and that flaw is that every Fascist and anti-democratic thinker is allowed to form alliances against the same democratic system . how can it be democratic if a certain group start there own political party and that party stands for averything that is not democratic .
a non democratic party vote's the democracy out and then drops of all human rights ? this will happen when all democrates are outnumberd by a civilian group that is not democratic

With all these democratic revolutions in the middle east I'dve thought people would think differently.

you let me know when they have free elections , because at this point these ( Democratic ) revolutions are not fully done jet , only time can tell

You have evidence that these revolutions are not in appeals towards democracy?

yes the revolution's appeal towards democracy but it will take time to judge how democratic they will become , ( give it a year ) but right now Libya is hunting rebels and Syria is doing the most undemocratic ( people from Syria are seeking refuge in Turkey )

So is that Islam or the governments of their countries that are a threat to democracy?

The governments are islamic exept for Turkey who is seculair , maybe the governments dont do everything according to the Islam but it is still enough of a influence on there governments

You do realize that it is those to things which made the US right? Are you willing to abolish the US?

Life is inherently self-destructive.

This is off-topic but I wonder why you say that?

Yeah, some life-forms certainly have self destructive tendencies, but the net effect of life is proliferation and adaption to ensure continued survival, not self-destruction. If it was inherently self destructive, how would life-forms ever have survived past the earliest stages of cell-formation?

Democracy, on the other hand, is self-destructive. Without non-democratic checks in place democracies collapse into dictatorhips, monarchies, or other more stable forms.

number of democracies taken over by muslims:0

number of democracies taken over by bigoted idiots who scapegoat religious minorities: 1

So far, muslims have a better track record than people like you. Looks like you are the bigger threat.
