Who do you support for the Republican nomination?

The ones on the list are the ones I know who have declared their candidacy. If there are others that I have left out, let me know.

Of the list, Ron Paul is the best candidate.

He would be a good candidate, but I just don't see him getting the nomination. It would probably have been better if Rand had decided to run. Age is a factor, Paul will be close to 80 when the election happens, plus he's looked at as too extreme.

I think Huntsman stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Ron Paul's willing to stand up for what he believes in, but he believes in things I don't like.

Of the options, I prefer Paul. I really, really wish Daniels had decided to run, but I respect his reasons for bowing out.

My vote too, for the same reasons. I hope people can get past him not being all charismatic and forceful.

IMO, John Huntsmen leans too far to the left.

I see him as a real conservative; he's focused on the real issues and he wants to fix the government rather than cutting everything and praying for the best.

It's too early for this. Ask again in Aug. next year, a great deal can happen and I'm sure it will before we need to back anyone. I believe Rick Perry is going to jump in.

I back anyone who isn't Obama or Hillary.

I just wanted to see who supported what candidate right now. If there is a change later, I will post a new poll. The only ones I've seen so far who would stand a strong chance of beating Obama are Cain, Bachmann, or Romney.
