There's no family? Adopted children have no family? Kids conceived by IVF have no family?

Or does that only apply when the parents are gay?

You're the one getting angry for no discernible reason. I'm just sitting here wondering how that particular wheel gets stuck in someone's head.

IVF means an absent parent for the child to wonder about. Adoption usually means something went wrong.

Gays used to ****ing laugh at marriage and family! Now suddenly they can't be happy without it. They're full of ****

Full Of ****.

That may be your perception, but it couldn't be further from the truth.

What are you talking about a judge to make you say it? You don't have to accept it, I could care less, I just want to live in a country where the law treats me the same as it treats you. And there are many benefits that only apply to married couples, and families, why should we not receive those benefits?

You already do, Star. We are treated exactly the same. What you want is more.

Wow. You're actually willing to say that a huge proportion of the people in this world have no family. You're willing to insult fantastic and giving parents. Straight parents, at that. And tell kids who may not have had a home otherwise that it's all a lie and they have no family. Because you're so stuck on trying to tear down gay people that you'll tear down anything to make that happen.

Gay people haven't changed. They just don't hide anymore. And they will happily go on with their lives, once they're legally permitted to have a life the way straight people are.

You're simply being discriminatory. And there's no arguing with that. You can't argue people out of blindly hating people or being disgusted by them for no reason other than prejudice.

All I can say, is try not to do anything that will get your name in the history books on this issue. I have the feeling that will be a bad legacy to have.

I'll wait for someone who's willing to talk reasonably.

This has already been refuted several times, me and the person I love can't get married, you and the person you love can. We are not being treated equally.

That is my reality. I remember the gays of the 70s. They would laugh their asses off at you!

That is your perception, I doubt you have any understanding of LGBT people outside of what you see on the news, and the bigoted opinions of the people around you. If you learn just one thing from this, it is the fact that LGBT people are exactly the same as you, that we are no different. We are both human, and have the same general hopes and desires as everyone else, and we are as varied in our personalities as the general population.

And what about those hetero couples where through no fault of their own, mother cannot become pregnant? Strike 01

-- Adoption usually means something went wrong.

What are your views on abortion? Are you one of those who believe that all pregnancies should be carried to term? If so, then adoption rather than abortion is actually a good thing.

Gays used to ****ing laugh at marriage and family! Now suddenly they can't be happy without it.

Equality stinks huh? Strike two.

What can I say? Three and out.

I guess that's the price of being a homosexual, then, isn't it? Nothing is free, dear.

Is there a law keeping you from your lady love? Can you not make love to her when you want? Are there forces keeping you apart? Can you not raise a family together?

2 outta 3 ain't bad. Enjoy what you have.

That, and you cannot reproduce together. Yes.

What? No warm peanuts and cold beer?

Lightweight.

If one of my freedoms is denied, all of my freedoms might as well be denied. The time for equality is now, it will always and forever be now. No person should except anything less then full equality. This is America, and that is what she stands for, if you don't like it, then well get out. Because SSM will be a reality for the whole country within this decade, better accept it now.

And when you're legally married, and all else is the same, you will piss and moan about . . . children giggling when you introduce your wife! Will you run to the local police?

No, I will be happy and content about being treated equally under the law.

And besides, my generation doesn't give a crap if someone is gay, this bigotry in this country is dying, albeit a slow, loud, annoying death.

We agree on the loud and annoying, but the bigots are on your side. My side is the one being called names.

Oh please, stop trying to play the victim here, it's rather pathetic. You can do that when you aren't being treated equally under the law, and the biggest argument for that is "**** them faggots!"

Yeah, cuz you know I've always hated them faggots.

You love *****. So do I. My loving it can lead to kids. That should be controlled somehow. Yours can lead to . . . . nothing of consequence. Don't insult me by pretending we're on the same level, cuz we are not.

I really need to dedicate a hotkey to post this.

There already IS equal treatment under the law. Any man and woman can marry. Equal. Same. No discrimination based on anything.

Then you would find nothing unconstitutional about changing marriage laws to allow Athiests to marry the Religious and vise versa but not allowing religious people to marry each other or atheists marry athiests.

You know, because it'd be "equal treatment under the law" because any athiest or religious person can marry. Equal. Same. No discrimination based on anything.

That's be perfectly constitutional and fine with you?

There are no children of gay couples. And there never will be.

So what do you call the adopted kid of two heterosexual parents? Is that their child?

So what do you call the kid of two heterosexual parents where the woman is not capable of being pregnant so they had a surrgate mother? Is that their child?

So what do you call the kid of two heterosexual parentswhere the man is infertile and thus they get a sperm donor? Is that their child?

Or is there some magical other name for them and you inform those couples that they don't actually have a child?

I'm asking what is the point? They can't have kids, there is no possible family, but suddenly they just CAN'T be happy unless we all gather round them, hold hands, and pronounce them wife and wife!

Ah, so the purpose of family is to HAVE the kids, not to raise the kids?

So you're not someone that pisses, moans, and bitchs about women on welfare "popping out kids" to a point they can't actually reasonably care for them because for you apparently the only reason to have a family is to HAVE the kid not to raise them.

Wow. That's a toughie.

Gimme some time to think on it.

hmmm . . .

I call them children. Beyond that, human. Being so, the offspring of a very certain male, and a very certain female.

How do you account for their presence? Rainbows and lollipops . . . perhaps?

So you really have nothing to add to the discussion, it appears, but some tired, old, smart-ass bull****, hmmm? A few choice catch-phrases to make you appear witty, when in fact, you're as dull as an old, rusty, razor, no?

Or do I exaggerate your gifts?

This is just making me think of Ron White's stand up routine indicating that all guys are a "little gay".

Is it opposite day again? Time flies...
