Argumentum ad populum. Logical fallacies do not impress.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

    She's definitely a fool, but I don't think it's Jesus's fault.

I see no reason why someone who is open and honest about their particular brand of faith cannot be trusted to fairly represent the people of this nation.

Much is said here and throughout our society about not judging others based on the community they belong to. I think this is as valid here as it is in many other scenarios.

I'm not worried about representing the people, I'm worried about being able to make rational, intelligent decisions based on the evidence. If someone admits they believe an invisible man tells them what to do, I'm immediately going to question their rational ability to function.

When's the last time an atheist ran for president?

You know, I don't think asking her point-blank "Are you a flake?" is either disrespectful or unprofessional. It's a rough question, but it's an opportunity to address a perceived weakness. Her enemies were already calling her worse, with less chance to answer them; if she can't take a simple interview, she doesn't have the stones for the office she aspires to. Hell, she doesn't have the stones for the office she has.

Yes, the death, ressurection, and salvation does seem like foolishness to those who are not Christian. However, this does not give someone a reason to be foolish about nearly everything.

This is the arrogance I've been talking about. This is what I would expect from a militant atheist.

You're not going to vote for a Republican anyway, so why the **** are you even here?

Guys like Cephus don't realize what a splinter sized minority they are in this world, but they want an atheist president to represent them.
