There is absolutely NO reason to be proud of one's nationality. It's typically just an excuse for xenophobic nationalism, or used to justify wars of choice in order to "civilize" savage people in other countries.

the injuns weren't "peaceful" for one thing. at least not the majority of the tribes. and who gives a **** anyway?
this whole pacifist weakling approach to life which liberalism advocates and enforces is why our government can
now walk all over our liberties.

So you support conquest, slaughter and the pillaging of the property of others?

Please tell me more about this "pacifist weakling approach to life" because I'm no liberal and I'm opposed to the initiation of force, support the rule of law and individual rights.

Haymarket's "support" of the 2nd Amendment, a right he believes we never had.

OK. So that characterization you described is entirely accurate except for your inclusion of the word "peaceful."

and who gives a **** anyway?

The government can now walk all over our liberties...and the way to fix that problem is to whitewash the historical record of walking over people's liberties?

I am generally proud to be an American, but America is far from being perfect, so there are things the U.S. does that I am not proud of.

The existence of people like you is one reason that I'm often ashamed to be an American. That's a ****ing disgusting mindset, and just confirms my view that many Americans are no more "civilized" than the Taliban, and they'd behave exactly the same way if given the chance.
