Also, I know he isn't on Food Network, but I am a HUGE fan of Chef Gordon Ramsay.

How could Robert Irvine be left off the list?

He did a Restaurant:Impossible episode at a place called Villari's in Palmyra, NJ (next town over from where I grew up). I had been to the place once, about 15 years ago, and was never going back. It sucked. After seeing the show, I decided to go and check it out again. It was like night and day, just like the showed aired it. The place looked 10,000 times better, and the food was very good. I still pass right by it almost weekly, and the parking lot is never empty.

When he was originally 'removed' from Dinner:Impossible for overstating the 'cooking for royalty' part on his resume, we boycotted the show. Luckily they put him back after the replacement bombed (Iron chef Michael Symon).

Now I'd say it's Alton Brown. Big fan of the way he breaks it down and turns food into a science.

I always figured that he is probably a dickhead. He gives off that vibe that he is a arrogant dick head the same way Nancy Grace gives off that vibe that she is a major bitch(not just any kind of bitch but the kind that bitches everywhere look up to and want to take lessons from).
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

The guys I like are probably not featured on US TV but I like Michel Roux jr and Heston Blumenthal.

I'm ignoring that Heston's fat duck had a small culinary scare over contaminated shellfish. I enjoy the over-the-top- scientific approach he takes to producing the perfect version of well known dishes.
