Probably not. Doesn't misogyny mean you hate them because they are women? I suppose it is possible, but I have never heard of such an instance.
some could make a valid claim that Ann Coulter (yes she really is a woman I met her long before anyone ever heard of her) can be one
If you are talking about hating men the word is misandry.
Me? I'm talking about women who hate women. My mother may have been one.

Sure. The definition of misogynist is simply "one who hates women". It doesn't say "men who hate women", lol!

Yes...in fact some of the worst misogynists are women. Ayn Rand comes to mind.
Ayn Rands view of women I don't think its what you think it is. You can look at her books and get that she believes in social equality. You can look at her interview answers and get a feeling she is for equality of women in all walks of life. I think she actually gave off the opposite impression.
Another "stereotype"I've known some women who didn't like to work with women. They said they didn't like the gossip-factor.
Another "stereotype"
I have read that men can gossip even worse than women. Having worked with both, its definitely and individual factor NOT a sex factor.
Consider China's views on females - that's advocated misogyny with a dire consequence . . . and I'm sure many women supported it because of what would happen if they didn't.
