Sure. The definition of misogynist is simply "one who hates women". It doesn't say "men who hate women", lol!

    Then that would be misogyny.

And yeah a woman can hate women.

Dictionary says "hatred of women" - no rational cause or reason.

    Good point!

I wondered if my mom, in hating women, hated herself. She had four daughters, and resented each who was not male. Quite bizarre.

Does that mean that women who hate women, automatically like men?

Consider China's views on females - that's advocated misogyny with a dire consequence . . . and I'm sure many women supported it becaues of what would happen if they didn't.

Ayn Rands view of women I don't think its what you think it is. You can look at her books and get that she believes in social equality. You can look at her interview answers and get a feeling she is for equality of women in all walks of life. I think she actually gave off the opposite impression.

As I understand her, Rand was an egalitarian and wanted women to have the same rights as men. She did not want women to have special privileges over men which is what I believe some of the women's movement has become in the past few decades.
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I don't know about misogyny, although, I'm inclined to agree, but, certainly, women can have patriarchial, sexist (against women) ideas. There are fairly obvious examples we could cite.

    Another "stereotype"
I have read that men can gossip even worse than women. Having worked with both, its definitely and individual factor NOT a sex factor.
