Men have the male version of PMS

I don't know if it's documented, true or false, but I would swear I've seen men acting like they were about to burst into tears at that time of the month.

Sometimes stuff sucks for us. We just get over it a hell of a lot quicker if we get our moments.

I don't know, but it brings me to a question I have about women and their monthlies.

We'll use my wife as an example since she is 32.

How can you repeat an action, once a month, every month for nearly 20 years and still have no clue when its going to happen again or recognize that you are in the PMS stage? Because I can tell before my wife can that she's coming up on that time of the month just by her behaviors. About 3 days later she apologizes for being mean and brushes it off as "PMS". It's not like I get to run around and hit people and then say "Sorry, it's just testosterone"

I wouldn't say it's a monthly thing like with women, but there is definitely man PMS. There exists the mental phenomena known as manstruation, although it is not cyclic and can occur at many times. Each guy has their trigger that I think sets things into motion.

I don't live my life 28 days at a time. I also don't PMS. If I'm being bitchy it's because I feel bitchy. It isn't limited to one week a month.

This was in response to WI, i forgot to quote.

I got to deal with the reverse version of that. If I ever spoke my mind, my mother would determine that I was either about to have it, was having it, had just had it, or was ovulating. Gah.

Plus, three sisters, no waiting. It was no wonder my dad would rather live at the hospital than be home 'during'.

Well that's you. My wife does PMS, and then she always acts shocked by it. I'm not saying to go circle the dates, just be aware.

My sister had the raging version thereof. I'd just get really sad. Some women are completely unaffected. I'm truly happy for them.

men certainly have biorhythms as well. they are less clear and less noticable.

Sometimes however I catch myself being a complete bitch for no reason. I usually attribute it to my man period.

Women periods I am sure is a main reason women have more time awareness than men.
