lol. wikipedia. but anyway...never mind that. exactly what rights are women lacking in america today?
i don't know of any rights a man has that a woman doesn't. can you name one?

You know what is funny? You made this wild, out of this world claim, and instead of backing it up, you are asking others to prove you wrong. So, back up your claim. You made it, you should be able to back it up.

lol. what? i've never seen a feminist be about anything other than abortion, lesbianism, or their right to be as slutty as they wanna be.
it's not like women don't enjoy all the legal rights a man does. i mean, as far as that goes, women are privileged over men. a man can't
kill his unborn child if he's too weak to take care of it. only a woman can be legally weak minded enough to do that. so really, it's the
man whom should be more concerned about "rights". you can't name a single thing "feminism" stands for besides what i claimed it does.
i already knew you couldn't.
nice attempt at diversion, though.

So what you are saying is you got nothing. It's the way you say it is because that is what you say it is. Sorry, but that don't carry any weight around here.

what are you wanting to me to do? post a link?
the obvious fact is...if you had an actual refutation to my analysis?
you would've typed it. you can't do it, though. why? because feminism is exactly what i say it is.

I did refute your comment, with a source. Your comment was laughable, and you have been totally unable to defend it.

you claimed that women didn't have "equal rights". you then provided a source which didn't back up your claim, in regards to
contemporary america. your source didn't back your claim. you refuted nothing.

You've haven't seen many feminists have you? Most of the feminists I've seen rabbit on about unequal employment opportunities.

Making 70 cents for every dollar a man makes is something that should be stopped don't you think?

lewstherin, how do you feel about gender?

Dear Wake,

The word "right" is very abstract. So I guess it might hold water that the word "wrong" is also abstract.

Even more abstract are the underlying issues that serves as the boiling pot for abortion, which are; Zygotes, Embryos, and Fetuses.

Your "poll" is but one more way of framing the question that has created screaming matches in DP over whether or not ZEF's should be allowed to be aborted because of differing perspective on questions like "viability", "personhood", "human", etc.

The topic is a never ending revolving door. The tug of war between Moralists and Constitutionalists will never go away.

The S.C. has made a ruling (the law of the land), which lays out the parameters of the abortion do's and dont's. In all likelihood, the standing ruling by the S.C. isn't going to be overturned because it is tied to other important privacy decisions and would strike those down as well.

Most Churches have voiced their objections.

Many individuals who have voiced their objections or approvals - have weighed in.

At this point-in-time, given standing laws. Individual beliefs are even less likely to have enough influence to have Congress to create a Constitutional Amendment that prohibits abortion than to get the S.C. to overturn the standing ruling.

Question:

So how do you want to see this thread evolve beyond YES - NO - UNSURE?

Respectfully Yours,

RM

The rest of your letter aside, you see no absolutes for right and wrong; is that it?

I thought you were a tall fella, so what do you have against height?

I'm a liberal, so I'm all for equality, I think the vertically challenged people of the world should stand up and be noticed!.....What do you mean they already are?

Is a human less human if they are conceived in rape or incest?

Whether or not its human is irrelevant. Personhood is the actual issue.

basically, a woman willing to have an abortion is an unnatural perversion of physiology. somehow, she's been convinced that
the maternal instinct, manifested through time and nature, is irrelevant to her being. she's become a freak, according to the laws
of biology itself. any woman choosing to have an abortion should be immediately sterilized. she's worthless to the progression of
the species itself.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

So what you are saying is you got nothing. It's the way you say it is because that is what you say it is. Sorry, but that don't carry any weight around here.

This is the guy who said that society is decaying because men are no longer dominating women.

that's not the "natural order". the natural order of man, and most other species, is that of the male dominating the female.
when this order is disregarded like it is now? you see what happens. moral decay. social disintegration and chaos. the destruction
of the family unit. if any woman would EVER kill my child behind my back....whether born or unborn.....she better be willing to pay
quite the high price for that action. she'd be lucky to be alive afterwards.

:lamo Give me a break.

Abortion is only justified to save the life of a mother.

ok, although she may exist, her life may not be worth living if other people force her to continue an unwanted pregnancy despite her protests.

So that justifies killing another life? No, it doesn't.

lewstherin, how do you feel about gender?

not really sure what you're asking. i believe men play a certain role in life, as do women.
a woman has a power all her own, but her power isn't the same as a man. that's not saying her
power is any less, though.
i think that women who try to play the role of a man lose this power and become something less than
their full potential dictates.

So that justifies killing another life? No, it doesn't.

You know, children, actual people, are dying all over the world every second of the day and there's not even near the outrage over that as over killing ZEFs. People seriously need to get their priorities straight. A ZEF is not a person.
