    John Huntsman

Does former Utah governor John Huntsman have a real, viable chance at the Republican nomination?

I would vote for Huntman over Obama any day, but I don't feel like he's got a chance.

last option was suppose to be a joke "Who the **** is John Huntsman?"

Don't know anything about him, but I'm willing to look.
Most often though, the best candidate doesn't get elected.

Because she/he has to much integrity to pander with appeals to emotion.

    Sadly.

Which is interesting in the context of Gringrich's imploded campaign. He can be totally honest now. I find that super refreshing. He's got nothing to lose so why not be honest?

I'd love to vote for a rational/reasonable/logical Democrat or Republican.
I've yet to find one that is electable on the national stage.

He may think he has a big chance.
    Don't know though.

Jon Huntsman, Jr. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Fiscal, Limited government conservative with moderate to liberal social stances (promoted civil unions in Utah of all places). And he's Mormon, but I don't really care about that. And he gets China.

Reading over his Wikipedia page, he's goddamned perfect. Cannot track any data for previous statements or positions to judge.

Maybe. But unlikely. Here is a quote from Wikipedia:

He has been described as "a conservative technocrat-optimist with moderate positions who was willing to work substantively with President Barack Obama."
We do not want someone who is willing to work with the one term president Obama. We want someone who is ready to defeat him. Huntsman does not seem to be the guy.
