Their tendency to favor high taxes, especially high corporate taxes which I think is a disastrous policy. Their tendency to endlessly expand social programs that chain people to welfare without giving them enough options to get out of the system. Their also tend to favor a lot more gun control than I'm comfortable with. Oh, and I don't think affirmative action is necessary anymore.

I do agree with them on abortion, gay marriage and providing basic healthcare for all, although not through a single payer system. I'm also more on their side when it comes to providing more funds for education.

I put fear race card tactics...I believe many are phony about race and only use the race card for personal gain...I also believe the over use of it has caused more racial tension than anything else.

Like these. I don't actually have a problem with high taxes, but I think corporate taxes are "hidden" taxes that the people don't really understand the impact of; no matter how we try to disguise it, only people pay taxes.
 
I hate liberals because they are pro-workers and working people. They actually think the Middle Class deserve decent pay and that is truly ridiculous because we all know that only the wealthy, job creators, should have no taxes. After all, they are much smarter than Middle and Poor class people and only do good. They never cause any economic problems or ask for handouts from the government.
 
My problem with liberals is that they analyse the failings of modern, corporatist capitalism but think fundamentals can be changed through tinkering.
 
I am new to this board, so perhaps this nonsense appears frequently. I like the first line - higher taxes(lower revenues). Sorry, but supply side economics has been thoroughly refuted through history. Interestingly, we are also being labeled deniers of history...

I didn't vote in the poll because it left out a couple of things and didn't give me the option I was hoping to find so I made my own list using this on as a base and added what I wanted to see.

Ah, you made a softer version of mine.

Mine purposefully illuminated the slander both sides throw at eachother; it is too bad people aren't acknowledging that.

It's a little inconvenient that I cannot choose multiple choices.

With such similar nomenclature, I may as well revise and repost these two polls or post them as a singular threads.
