I was pointing out the irony of that statement, which was made in this thread. In fact, that statement was made to more than one person, by more than one person, and was used as a basis for the argument as to why we shouldn't wish for policy failures. In that sense, it is very much related to the topic and your post is the one that doesn't belong.

    Thanks for playing, though.
And you continue to either twist words or not understand what has been clarified for you several times. It's not about supporting policies that you think will fail, it's about wanting policies to fail at helping the country. I think the problem is that you're misinterpreting people's comments and responding accordingly. Centrist and BD and I have clarified several times that supporting policies that you believe are bad is not a problem - it's wishing for Obama to fail at improving the country.

No, if he succeeds, the nation loses. He's succeeded in doing everything he wanted to do. How is the economy reacting to those polices? Not favorably, huh?

I wouldn't say it's knee - jerk; I would say it's experienced. You're just not likely to get that much of substance other than the "lol you are such a tool and an idiot for disagreeing with me when obviously i'm correct because I am LOL" line.

O'Bama's polices were never going to help the country.

I recall pointing out that people who wanted us to lose the war rather than switch to an intelligent strategy were cheering for loss - but that "switch to the correct strategy" bit is rather key.

Since when have any of the Republocrats policies help us on the whole? They're all meant to help the same group at the expense of the rest of us.

No I was referring to how to run the government if I didnt make that clear I apologize but i used it in content of OPINIONS of POLICY.
There are no absolutes like you were using: President likes policy A that is a failure cause I said so.

You're not getting the point, then. We don't believe these policies will help America. That's why we want them to fail. We believe they will cause harm we will have a hard time recovering from. We don't want that, so they must fail. Do you get it now? Nobody is talking about wanting to fail at improving the country except y'all, who seem to think that's our goal. His policies won't help, even if he truly believes that they will. So yeah, we want failure. Because failure in bad policies is not a bad thing in the long run.

You can recall anything you want. It doesn't change the propaganda being put out by the conservatives at the time. This thread is the same propaganda in reverse. You Republocrats are quite similar you know.
