Instead of talking about me, why not talk about my points for a change with some actual substance?

Did you stop to consider why this thread was made? Why such "crude" (oh my) poll choices were allowed? And then why two opposing twins were made? I'll break it to you this way in hopes of getting an actual breakthrough:

These threads passively MOCK most users here, deservingly, because it it true. I viewed posts from users who had posted here. Oh my, what did my little eye spy? More hateful spewage like the ones in the options.

If there's something you should complain (*****) about, it is yourself and everyone else here who at one point or another spews such garbage.Everyday we see such foul rhetoric; here, tv, everywhere. And then you have the nerve to say that this thread isn't credible when in fact it's revealing the very flaw of incredibility. Instead of complaining what you think this thread is based on your biased eyes, develop some deeper understanding and percieve my philosophical motives.

I've ripped off the mask of such hateful conjecture, and I'm revealing it here for all hateful to see such hatefulness. In fact I just viewed a bunch of random posts from random users, then viewed the faux indignance on this thread, then laughed at such irony. The real reason we fling such conjecture and fight and quarrel so much is because there's a shadow of hate behind ALL of our contentions.

C'mon people. We're all Americans. Let's start acting like it. Let's start by not referring to each other as ignorant after they take the time to participate and respond in debate. i know I've done my share of that too. It can get so frustrating. But I'm workin' on it.

And anybody who tries neutrality gets treated like Anita in West Side Story.

She asks Anita to say she has been detained, explaining she would have gone herself otherwise. Anita's real purpose is to tell Tony (who is found by Anybodys outside Maria's apartment and takes refuge in the cellar of Doc's drugstore) that Maria is detained from meeting him. But when Anita enters the drugstore and asks for Tony, the Jets mock, harass, and mock rape her until Doc stops them. Infuriated by the attack, Anita gives the Jets a different message for Tony: Maria is dead, shot by Chino for loving Tony. Doc reproaches the Jets, then delivers the message to Tony. In shock and despair, Tony runs to find Chino, shouting for Chino to kill him too.

Just the loud people at the extreme. Most of the country fits somewhere between those two extremes and gets along quite well thank you.

I have long said that the decisive voting power always resides in the moderate, free-thinking, centrist portion of our population.

When I tell someone they are insignificant, I usually refer to their ideology as it is usually not shared by any significant portion of the population to matter. And I feel them to be of no serious threat to the progress of our country. And it's much more polite saying that than coming right out and saying, "Who cares about your whacko ideas? There's not enough of you people to even be concerned with."

You guys know me. Always wanting to be the nice guy. :mrgreen:

Unfortunately, it sometimes seems like the ideology of the two powerful parties are dictated by the loudest and most extreme members. I like your situation better, though.

When I come across the posts of the extreme insignificant, on both side of the fence, right and left, it's like listening to Charley Brown's teacher. "Wok, wok, wok, wok, wok....." I think these people just like to read what they write and there isn't a collective brain amongst them.
 
I hate how they believe in the damn free market.

It's not even the centrists. People on both sides of the isle, mostly are not socialists on the one side and anarchists on the other(gross oversimplification to make the point). We are still partisan, and definitely on one side or the other, but we are not the all out extreme that gets so loud. We can find room to compromise, we can and do get along.

Socialism is to most liberals as anarchism is to most conservatives. That is roughly accurate. The further left, the more a general tendency to support government regulation, the further to the right, the more a general tendency to oppose government regulation. This is, roughly, accurate. Your cute comments do not change this.

I think communism is the most left position.

Many progressives could be deemed "lite" socialists.

Probably because, when compared against pretty much every other democratic nation in the world, our center is pretty far-right. Anything that reaches the platforms of moderates in even our two closest neighbors looks left-wing here. Radical left ideas here are business as usual in most of the rest of the prominent nations of the world.

My view of the unreasonable left are environmental alarmists, organic food nuts, Code Pink, or PETA.
