OK. Some of you may be aware of a show called American Chopper. Also, about the father/son issues between Sr. & Jr.

Well, they just had a 'build off', commissioned by Cadillac, to see who could build the best Cadillac themed bike. Both bikes are being auctioned off for charity (Duschenne).

I thought it might be interesting to see which bike we all thought was best.

Here is Sr.'s bike:

and here is Jr's:

Charity Auction : American Chopper : Discovery Channel

I watched the shows during the build phase, and I think Jr's bike is 10 times better than Sr's... IMHO of course.

Seems that the general public agrees with me...

your vote/opinions???

I like the lines of Sr's bike better. Also, not a fan of the texture of the seat/accent pieces on Jr's. I really, really wish I had the money to hire one of these guys. My dad would crap himself if he got an AC bike.

To each his or her own.

Look at the two pictures, and tell me what is missing from Jr's...

Jr's looks very stretched out. Though in general, I'm not a fan of these sorts of custom choppers in the first place. Too high end, not enough spirit. A chopper should be made in someone's garage.

I dunno what's missing. I'm not a bike expert :2razz:. What'd I miss?

We used to watch the show regularly until it got too personal like a reality show. I'm more interested in motorcycles than watching disfunctional families. I voted for jrs. the lowrider! Personally tho I prefer more of an "old school" look.

I stopped watching a few seasons ago when they started scripting in this whole Jr vs Sr nonsense. It's boring and predictable...

The whole point of the Cadillac build off was to see who could build a better 'Cadillac themed' bike.

I look at the side shot of Jr's bike, and I see 'Cadillac' all over it... logos, lines, shapes, etc.

I look at Sr.s bike, and I think 'well, that one little part by the base of the seat kinda sorta reminds me of Cadillac'.

I'm also not a huge hardtail fan. I like the look of the soft tail design (it's easier on the back too).

I into Goldwings, but I have watched the OCC from the start and Jr. has built some truly amazing bikes like the NYFD 343, or the Spider bike.

For looks Jr. wins hands down but I wouldn't like to ride either one of these because I find all stretched front ends dangerous and not really very comfortable.

I prefer to cruise with the stereo on while I'm out of the wind.

I've seen people on them there Goldwings. I never understood the purpose of heat or AC or a sound system on a motorcycle.
