    Are they racist or not?

Can you prove or disprove such claims?

Racism implies unreasonable or unwarranted action to promote one race over another. Trying to overcome past injustice does not qualify. I do not think these men are racist. I think they are overzealous at times, and sometimes look for conflict where none exists, but I criticize their methods, not their intent. Minorities, especially black people, still face a lot of discrimination in this country.

Do they believe the black race to be inherently superior to others?
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

I really do think Al Sharpton has some race issues to get over, but I wouldn't call him racist.

Re: Are Al Sharpton, Jeremiah Wright, Farrakan, and Malik Shabbaz... Racists?

Anyone who makes decisions based on race is a racist, period. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and others are extremely racist, they are only interested in skin color and they think they get to declare what a "real black man" is based on political positions. It's funny, for a movement that supposedly wants the world to be color blind, these people see nothing but color.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

I don't think Al Sharpton is racist at al. I think he has an agenda to promote African-Americans but I don't think that's the same thing as saying African-Americans are better than others.

I don't know about the rest.
Also, we need to legalize recreational drugs and prostitution.

Al conks his hair, in imitation of Whitie. He better not be a racist.

Is Shabazz a racist? would a non-racist say this?
