I don't swear as much here as I do in real life.

Quote of the day. I'll have to work that into conversation somehow tomorrow. Maybe atrribute it to Confucius.

    Re: Comportment question

Heh, well, I think my friends would recognize it as definitely the same person. A lot of them were around for my cable commentary days. That was fun.

So, I'd be fine with it as far as people I respect.

Work? Well... depends. Being a young person who has not yet acquired a degree, I have two avenues of "work." One is related to the above, and the other is crap jobs to get me through. If it were related to the above, I'd be mostly concerned about my typos being critiqued. If it were related to the jobs that get me through, I suppose I'd be a little uncomfortable, simply because that's not something I talk about in those circumstances.

    Re: Comportment question

I swear more IRL than here as well.

But the person you interact with here is the same you'd meet IRL.

    Just shorter.

Thanks for the warning. I'll make sure I use it around non-movie goers.

    Re: Comportment question

There isn't anyone whose opinion I value that much. I post here under my real name and my posts from this site will turn up first in any Google search.

I don't talk politics with people who aren't interested. In general, I try not to talk about my personal life at all. Most people who I've worked with, ever, already knew or at least suspected that I was up to some weird **** in my free time.

    Re: Comportment question

I tend to watch my mouth around my moms and other family than here on the board. As in out of respect I try not to be dropping f bombs or cursing a lot.

With friends? I am worse than on here and usually all over the page in reguards to attention span. Thank goodness they love me

My boss? I do not curse around at all. I try to keep my politics out of the work place. If they saw my post here? Probably not be some huge shock. But I dunno

Why would the Mayor be different, face to face?
