Politicians like Palin pandering, is this type of pandering ok?

Is this to much pandering and is it wrong?

Ive even said similar things to what you said about palin in other threads "Are legit bashing topics for her becoming harder to find?"
I basically said the same thing in the thread trying to bash palin about the flag and her bus, I said its a non issues and theres no need to bash her on it because its a hack job. It makes it even worse to do a hack job on palin because she makes it easy.

Even asked atleast a half dozen times in this thread about other things people may judge.

So next time before ASSuming try not to be so knee jerk so you dont end up with :hitsfan: on your face. :D

Your joking right? lol When I see someone wearing a religious symbol around they're neck I would hope to believe that that is what they truly believe in their heart of hearts. Another example was when McCain went to Sturgis. He was gonna put Cindy in the Buffalo gal contest. Ohh but maybe he really would. (Never mind)

I gotta say I agree with you both and that was the point of my thread. People respond to and care about things differently.
And I think it matters what image a person is trying to sale and who they are selling it to.

For instance this year in REC softball my daughter wanted to get the number 666 on her jersey and have the name say "the beast"

this probably troubles some people but in reality kids currently say beast or beastie for good, great, cool, big etc so it has no ties to the devil in her mind at all but not all would see it that way

and just an FYI yes I let her do it cause I "got it" and all the other girls thought it was cool

I got in trouble in the navy wearing my God Bullies T-shirt to a squadron open house. My skipper was not amused. I actually felt bad about it, it was just the top shirt in the drawer when I got dressed that morning and did not even think about it.

Yep it really depends on the item and what your purpose is. In politicians its to deceive really, sometimes its only to show off and cater but when you switch something drastically its to deceive.

Your shirt was just something for you wasnt meant to harm.

Dont know if people are familiar with them but its like the millions of joke shorts out there or the big Johnson/big peckers shirts that are REALLY talking about penises

its all in the message and who you are

It's probably one of the better emo pics out there. Though emo sucks. They need to learn to cut deeper.
 
I noticed her wearing the star of david at that event and I thought it was tacky...i guess the better word would be pandering, but I didnt view her in a bad light because of it.
You can wear your cross and show support for israel, epecially when jews know that your not a jew. :)

the difference might be that most non jews don't happen to have a star of david lying around......it's definitely pandering. but they all do it, so?

Really? You are not at all familiar with some subculture fashion then. Trust me, crucifixes, crosses, star of Davids, all used heavily by many in certain fashions.

And the point is that its only your opinion, some dont feel that way which is what this whole thread is about.

for instance I dont know what the obama video is Ill have to watch it later im at work but I know what the hilary video is and I dont think its pandering at all. But then again I know what she was quoting and what the meaning is behind it. Some people just think she was trying to talk black/southern and that had about nothing to do with it LOL

But again thats only my opinion on it, I think she properly quoted it and performed it.

The Obama thing Ill get back to you it may very well be catering and to much.

It's actually a fairly funny anime that makes fun of boy harem anime and such. Though the show is overall fairly wierd.
